Shorthorn Football - Marfa vs. Buena Vista, Martin Field, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. The following procedures are in place to safely allow spectators to attend this games. 1.) Football players & cheerleaders are eligible for 4 FREE tickets from the coaches. 2.) General admission tickets are FREE and only 50 are available. Call (432) 729-5500 to reserve your tickets. Ticket limit is 4 per person and must be picked up by 2:00 pm Friday at the administration office. 3.) Available seating areas are marked 1-48. 4). Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. Individuals must stay within their designated seating area. 5). ENTRANCE PROCEDURES: · Marfa (HOME) spectators will PARK and ENTER / EXIT through areas designated along Gonzales Street and ENTER / EXIT through the “Tennis Court Area” and will sit on the home side of the field (WEST SIDE). · VISITORS will park on Lincoln Street and ENTER / EXIT the “M Gate” and will sit on the visitor side of the field (EAST SIDE). Red Ribbon Week will be recognized Oct. 26-Oct. 30. A special program will be presented during the week, and students are encouraged to dress up during the week following the daily themes to remind us all that a drug-free life is the life to live. Monday - Bright Future Ahead - Dress Up as Your Future Career Tuesday - Too Bright for Drugs - Wear neon colors, hats and shades Wednesday - Don’t Get Roped Up in Drugs! Wear western clothes Thursday - Paint Marfa Rojo! Wear Red to show you’re drug free Friday - Scare off Drugs! Wear Halloween costumes Please remember - no blood, guts, violence or masks - only safety masks and VIP: Students should be able to get in and out of their costumes by themselves for bathroom breaks. If they can’t, it’s Pajama Day instead.

Marfa ISD will be transitioning to virtual learning from October 12 to October 16, 2020. Robinson cafeteria will be providing breakfast and lunch for all students via our curbside meal service at Robinson Cafeteria. Meals are free for all students enrolled at Marfa ISD. Students must be counted as present at virtual school in order to receive meals free of charge. If a meal is taken by a child who is counted absent in virtual school the meal will be charged to the student’s meal account.
