We're super excited to partner up with TAMU Rural Student Success Initiative (RSSI). The goal of this initiative is to increase the number of rural students enrolling in and completing a post-secondary certificate or degree program. We look forward to working with you.
Today's training included our Marfa Police Department with Chief Carrillo, Lt. Fuentes and Officer Merritt. Welcome to Marfa Office Merritt, he's our new School Resource Officer. Stop the Bleed was a complete success. Safety 1st for our Marfa Shorthorns!

The first day back with our Marfa Teachers & Staff was a complete success! Everyone is on board with this year's theme, "Going for the Gold!" A special thank you to Marfa ISD Board President, Mrs. Teresa Nunez for joining us this morning. 24-25 is going to be awesome!

Thank you to @CesarBlanco @AT&T @ChinatiFoundation for partnering to provide our Junior and Senior students with a free Chromebook and backpack in an effort to provide Digital Literacy. @ MarfaShorthorns, shoot for the stars as they are surely attainable for you!
A huge "thank you" to Cesar Blanco and his office who yesterday celebrated with us in our School Backpack Giveaway. They provided 158 backpacks to students in our community! Thank you parents for coming out and celebrating with us! I cannot wait for the school year to begin.
