RED RIBBON WEEK! October 24th-28th.

Alexa Briones and Zaley Porter, our Marfa ISD HART Ambassadors, hand out buttons and stickers to students to spread the word about last week's National School Lunch Week, and this month's National Farm to School Month. Marfa ISD's school cafeteria proudly serves locally, meaning all our food and drinks are from Texas growers and producers.
Eat healthy and be a Shorthorn!

More pictures from the Advanced Art class field trip on Friday to several Marfa galleries. The itinerary included stops at Greasewood Gallery, Rule Gallery, and the printmaking studio of Robert Arber. There, students were treated to a tour by local artist Valerie Arber, as she explained the printmaking techniques behind works by Donald Judd, Bruce Nauman, and Charline von Heyl. The trip ended with a stop at Frama, where the young artists cooled off with ice cream or iced drinks!

Friends, families, and faculty are all welcome for this celebration and night sky tour.

Thank you Mrs. Donaldson for being an awesome Marfa ISD teacher!

Shorthorn family,
Please wear orange tomorrow to help us promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion for National Unity Day. Together we can show our support by wearing orange to stand up against bullying.
